Qualified Tree Care with Local Experience

Rudy trained at Askham Bryan College and holds recognised NPTC qualifications. That technical foundation is supported by over a decade of hands-on work with trees, hedges, stumps and difficult sites. The business is fully insured and plans each job around the condition of the tree, access to the site and the buildings, boundaries and garden features nearby.

Customers regularly highlight the team’s punctuality, communication and tidiness. Branch by Branch holds 5.0-star ratings on Google and Facebook, including more than 29 Google reviews at the time of writing. Those ratings reflect something simple but important: turning up when agreed, treating people and property with respect, and leaving the site properly cleared.

Tree and Hedge Services

Every garden and site presents a different challenge. Some trees need measured pruning to improve their shape or allow more light below. Others may be dead, diseased, storm-damaged or unsuitable for their position. The team provides the following domestic and commercial services.

Tree Pruning and Crown Maintenance

Crown reduction, thinning, lifting, deadwooding and formative pruning can improve structure, manage growth and help retain a healthy, attractive tree. The aim is controlled, appropriate work rather than cutting more than the tree requires.

Emergency Storm-Damage Call-Outs

Fallen trees, split limbs and hanging branches may block access or create an immediate hazard. Emergency assistance is available during extended operating hours, until 11:00 pm from Monday to Friday and until 9:30 pm on Saturdays.

Hedge and Shrub Clearance

Regular trimming keeps boundaries neat and manageable. Overgrown hedges, dense shrubs and briars can also be reduced, reshaped or cleared to restore light, access and usable garden space.

Stump Grinding and Complete Root Removal

Stump grinding removes the visible obstruction below ground level, while complete root removal is available where the wider stump and root system must be extracted. Both options can reclaim space, reduce regrowth and prepare the ground for its next use.

Dangerous Tree Removal

Dead, unstable or badly damaged trees can often be dismantled safely in sections. Controlled working methods help protect houses, sheds, fences, greenhouses and neighbouring property, including in confined gardens and restricted spaces.

Commercial Tree Surgery and Site Clearance

Reliable tree, hedge and vegetation work is available for businesses, landlords, schools, managing agents and developers. Services can support routine maintenance, risk reduction, property management and preparation for further work.
